Prepaid Freight Threshold Lowered for 2024
January 1, 2024, US Tarp has lowered it’s prepaid freight threshold from $4000 to $3500 in the continental United States, and will move from $6000 to $5500 for Canadian Distributors. The lowered rate will run for the duration of 2024 to help support our customers as they navigate challenging business conditions.
US Tarp Free Freight Policy
US Tarp Free Freight Policy applies to Distributors in the continental US for purchase orders over $3500. Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico Distributors will receive free freight for qualifying orders to freight forwarders in the continental US. Free freight applies to Canadian Distributors for purchase orders over $5500. All Distributors must comply with our MAPP program to take advantage of our free freight policy. All other orders will be priced F.O.B. US Tarp® South Haven, MI or Salt Lake City, UT with freight prepaid and the freight charge price added to the invoice. Free freight applies to standard ground shipments only. Extra costs incurred for expedited delivery, lift gate charges, or other non-standard business delivery requests are the responsibility of the Distributor. Free freight on partial shipments or split shipments will be provided if the value of each partial shipment or drop is more than the free freight minimum.
